1. Do not use excessive swearing. Swearing is okay in context and in character, but there's no need to go overboard.
2. Do not flood. Flooding is posting the same thing over and over again or lots of one letter (ex. !!!!!!!)
3. Avoid text speak. If you wouldn't write it on your homework, don't write it in your post.
4. Play your characters only. If your character is Betty, you may not say: "Betty kicked Gunner, who sprang into a swift canter." Instead, write: "Betty kicked Gunner, asking him for a swift canter."
