Practicing some moves

John led Soul to the ring and got on him. He looked at Lily and Aurora practicing their moves. He waves at her and kicks Soul, asking for walk. He stopped in the middle and pulled the reins up, holding his head down, asking for trot on place. Soul lowers his head and perks his ears, obeying, he trots on place. John lets go the reins asking Soul to stop. Soul doesn't feel the reins pulling and stops, and shakes his mane, chewing gently on the bit. Soul bucks a little, not so happy by the way John pulled hard the reins. John petted his neck "Easy, boy!" he calmed him down. Soul kicked with his hind leg a little then waited patiently for his next command. John this time pulled lightly the reins and kicking lightly, he asks for a "splash walk". Soul holds his head in the middle and with every step, rising his front legs and his hind, he does "splash walk" as asked. He kept his ears back and waited for John's commands. John then pulled the reins a little and kicked lightly again, asking for an extend trot. Soul shoots his head in the air and his tail waves behind him like a flag. He does "extend trot" as asked. John then asks him to stop and go for a normal walk. Soul does so. John leads him to the fence and pulls the reins for him to stop. He looked at Lily and waited for her preformance.

Lily enjoyed the way John preformed his moves. She then knew it was her turn. She lightly kicked Aurora and pulled the reins. Aurora felt uncomfortable in the company of another horse and human. She bucked a little but wasn't calmed down easy. Lily managed to calm her down "Easy now, girl!" and then they kept on the practecing. Lily pulled the reins and kicked lightly, asking for extended canter. Aurora does so, finally forgetting the other rider and his horse. The extended canter is followed up by a trot then walk. They gallop for awhile and Lily pulls the reins for Aurora to stop "How was it?" she smiled at John, waiting for his answer.
