Battle Rules and Setup - READ BEFORE BATTLING! Empty Battle Rules and Setup - READ BEFORE BATTLING!

Reasons to start a battle:

A stallion wants to steal another stallion’s herd
A colt growing up in a herd wants to take over the lead stallion’s rule
A stallion wants to drive a younger colt out of the herd

Process:

1. First, both members must agree to have a battle between their characters.

2. Both members must choose to either have a long battle or a short battle
Long battle – Each member posts 10 battle posts with their character
Short battle – Each member posts 5 battle posts with their character

3. One of the members must set up a thread. In the subject line, it should say: Character vs. Character [LENGTH].
Example – “Cedar vs. Rocky [SHORT]”

4. Now the battle can begin. The members take turn posting with their characters, going back and forth and battling.

5. Once the battle is over (after the 20th post for a long battle or the 10th post for a short battle), an admin or moderator will post the outcome of the battle. The outcome is based on what happens during the battle and a little bit of luck.

6. A moderator or admin will lock the thread and roleplaying can resume on the regular boards.

Rules:

1. Absolutely no power playing. Roleplay your character only.
2. Your character is not perfect.
3. Your character does not have super powers.
4. You can only have a battle between 2 characters.
5. Don’t just type a sentence for each post… you are more likely to win if you describe what your character is doing in detail.
6. As on the other boards, shorthand/text type is absolutely prohibited.
