The Walkway

Annaleigh lead Spell down the walkway to the stall for her. She unbridled Spell and gave her a kiss on the nose. "You be good, okay," Annaleigh crooned Spell. Spell wickered to her softly.

"Your horse seems very... dedicated to you." said Jessie. "Hi, im Jessie, or you can call me Jess. I'm new here, and I'm waiting to get a horse of my own." Jessie walked over and sroked Spell. "What's her name?"

Anna turned to Jesse. "Her registered name is Spellbinding Superstition but I just call her Spell." Anna smiled at the thin, pretty girl. "oh, and my name is Anna and I'm new here too," Anna said, "What is your riding specialty?"

"Western. I hope i find a horse soon, so we can go riding together!" Jessie said. She brushed her long blonde hair out of her face.

"That would be fun," Anna said, "Have you seen any horses of interest?" Anna stepped out of Spell's stall latching the stalldoor.

"Yes, atually, now I own Pandora's Box. He's a fiesty one but a beauty," Jessie answered. "Want to go trail riding? I'll go tack Pandora up." Jessie waited for Anna's response.

"That would be fun," Anna smiled, "I start tacking up Spell." Anna ran to the tack room getting her tack and riding gear. She walked back to Spell's stall and started tacking.

Jessie went to the tack room as well. She grabbed her saddle and her blanket, bridle, and a hand full of sugar cubes for Pandora. She walked to his stall and gave him the sugar. "That's a good boy, we're going for a ride today, ok?" She watched his ears to see how he was feeling as she put her english saddle on. He did fine. Jessie had gotten an english style horse, despite the fact she was a western rider, but, it would be easy to learn, right? She carefully pulled his halter of, and put the small thing around his neck. She started to put the bridle on, but Pandora Reared up away from it. Jessie let out a piercing scream as pandora came down, almost on top of her. She would have been hurt, if she hadn't moved out of the stall. "Easy, boy." She said, and finally got the bridle on. She turned to see Anna running running down the aisle to see what was happening. This causes Pandora to spook again, and he backed up againt the stall wall, and whirled around, his eyes wide and scared.

Anna skidded to a stop by Jessie, "Are you all right?" She looked at Pandora and she looked Jessie over. "What happened?"

"I was trying to put his bridle on, and he reared up, and almost came down on me!!" Jessie explained. She looked at Pandora, and saw he was still scared. "Oh, its ok, boy... Maybe we should warm up in the jumping ring, cause I haven't ridden him before.

"Yeah let's do that," Anna said, "Do you need help to finish tacking him up?"

"No, I think I got it" Jessie said as she led Pandora out of his stall. She started toward the riding ring.

Anna jogged down the way and retrieved Spell then she followed Jessie and Pandora to the ring. She climbed into Spell's saddle. Anna waited for Jessie to get on Pandora.

Jessie mounted Pandora. She started to warm him him up. (Maybe we should move this to a post in the riding area, cause this is supposed to be the barn.)
